Separation

Separation between solid phase and liquid phase are widely required across a wide range of industries. The separation is mainly achieved through a decanter centrifuge. The decanter centrifuge can separate solid particles from liquid suspension, or separate different liquid phases.

A lot of suspensions, such as waste water, oil sludge, mining mud, palm oil, are corrosive and abrasive. Thus A strong material with excellent corrosion resistant and wear resistant properties are required for the critical parts of a decanter centrifuge. Duplex stainless steel 2304 or 2205, and Austenitic stainless steel 304 or 316 are chosen, due to its superior properties and cost effectiveness, for the bowls and scrolls of a decanter centrifuge.

Pump & Valve

Many Pumps and valves are installed to transport corrosive liquids or gases, especially sea water, waster water, chemicals, oils, etc. Centrifugal cast or sand cast stainless steel valves and volutes are tasked to handle the challenge.

In the field of paper making industry, the fibre solution have corrosive effects on the equipment. The corrosion media of the bleaching equipment are mainly Cl -, H+in the chlorination section, as well as oxidants Cl2 and ClO2. There is severe corrosion on the top of the chlorination tower or the pulp washer, and it cannot be used with 316L stainless steel.

2101, 2304, and 2205 duplex stainless steels are perfect for these conditions that can effectively solve the anti-corrosion problem. The rotors or impellers of puler machine are generally made with duplex stainless steel by static casting to achieve the best performance.
